Send the original. Photos straight from a camera or a phone are usually fine. Screenshots, social media downloads and images saved from a web page usually are not, because they have already been compressed and resized.
Do not upscale the file yourself. Software upscaling adds pixels but not detail. Send us the original and let us do it — we enlarge and clean up files for print as part of the job.
Will my image be sharp enough?
Send it and let us worry about that. There is no size we refuse to price and no file we turn away over its resolution.
A person checks every upload at the size of your wall before anything prints. If the file needs work — enlarging, sharpening, cleaning up compression — we do it. If we think it will not look the way you hope even then, we write to you before printing, show you why, and suggest what would work better.
A rough guide, if you want one: a wall ten feet wide looks its best from about 5,000 pixels across, and a 12 megapixel phone photo is about 4,000. Smaller files still print; a big wall is mostly seen from across the room.
Your proof
After you upload, we send a digital proof, normally within one business day. It shows:
- the exact crop of your image at your wall ratio
- the printed scale of any text or fine detail
- where the panel seams will fall across the image
- the material and the finished dimensions
Check the seam positions carefully. A seam through the middle of a face or a logo is worth moving, and moving it is free at the proof stage.
You can ask for changes, and we will send a revised proof. Nothing goes to press until you say yes.
Printing starts after you approve, so the 3–10 business days delivery window runs from your approval rather than from the order date. Build that into your timeline if you are working to an install date.
Rights and what we cannot print
By uploading an image you confirm that you own it or have permission to reproduce it at wall size.
We cannot print:
- copyrighted photographs you do not have a license for
- stock images you have not licensed for this use
- film, TV and music artwork
- sports team marks and other brand logos that are not yours
- anything illegal or hateful
If we spot an obvious rights problem, we contact you rather than printing it, and we refund the order in full.
Your files stay yours. We use them to produce your order and to reprint it if you order again, and we do not add them to the catalog, license them, or show them to anyone else. Ask us to delete your file and we will.

A custom mural is yours alone. It is printed once, for one wall, from your file, so nobody else could use it and it can’t be returned for a change of mind. That is why the proof exists and why we would rather have a long conversation before printing than a short one after.
If a custom mural arrives damaged, misprinted or different from the proof you approved, that is our error and we replace it or refund it in full. Inspect every panel before you hang anything, and report a fault within 14 days with photos.

How we print it
Your file is printed at its native resolution onto numbered panels sized to your wall, with a one-inch trim allowance on every edge. We never upscale an image to make it fit — if it is not big enough, we tell you and suggest a smaller wall or a different crop.

Yes. Vector files such as PDF, SVG, AI and EPS print crisply at any size and are the best choice for logos and lettering. Scanned artwork works too if the scan is high resolution. Tell us in the order notes how the artwork should sit on the wall, and we will show you the placement on the proof before anything is printed.
